Oh I dunno, I figured they hired me because I have the same birthday as Tumblr’s president (happy birthday John!) and occasionally I bribe my coworkers with baked goods.
Programming for 22 years and having extensive experience developing software for three other major blogging platforms probably didn’t hurt either but blah blah… tl;dr version is everyone likes pie.
